First assembly test for the frame of the first itinerant big top in China
VSO and French partner SIRC are currently proceeding with the first assembly test for the frame of the first itinerant big top in China.
The project needed to match the gigantic installations planned within as well as meeting Chinese, US and European standards. Setting a new record size-wise: over 150 tonnes for the frame, supporting a 50-tonne technical platform under the dome with a diameter of 26m.

VSO signs off on a big top in Shanghai
Delivered to the Shanghai Acrobatics Troupe, which works with the Shanghai city council, the big top will be travelling all over China, Asia and then Europe. The big top is due for delivery in September 2015. Characteristics: Main tent: 52 m x 66 m, height 25 m 6 masts. Admissions tent: 18 m x 50 m, 3 masts. Seating capacity: 1,953
VSO on the Chinese market
VSO is producing its first big top for Shanghai with the Shanghai Acrobatics Troupe. After three years of development and technical adjustments, the deal was finally clinched in December 2014. VSO thus gained a footing on the Chinese market. Big Top 52 m x 66 m, height 25 m, 1,953 seating capacity
